IHI Improvement Map

The IHI Improvement Map, launched September 2009, is an interactive, web-based tool designed to bring together the best knowledge available on the key process improvements that lead to exceptional patient care. It offers clear guidance through an often confusing healthcare landscape, helping hospitals set change agendas, establish priorities, organize work, and optimize resources.
IHI faculty hosted an informational webex for North Carolina, Jan. 7. Participants were guided through a demonstration of the Improvement Map features, including a discussion of the Passport and Expedition programs. UNC Health Care also shared their experience using the map and introducing it to their staff in an effective manner.
If you missed the web-conference or were able to attend and would like share, the recording is now available.
